Eagle Wagon Works Building

The photo above was taken around 1910 and is of the Eagle Wagon works building (on the right) and the surrounding houses. The photo shows the first gas powered vehicles and chassis that were built inside the Wagon Works building. This photo was taken around the time when the company was starting to transition from horse drawn carriages, wagons, and sleighs to automobiles.

The Eagle Wagon Works building was founded in 1846 by John Olis. The building was used to manufacture engines and castings.
