American Legion Home

The image above is an older photo of what is the modern day American Legion. One interesting fact is that there was a dental office on the left side of the building. There is a light above the door that would take you to the office.

The Tamaqua American Legion Home, located at 206 West Broad Street, is located in the former grand home of Tamaqua businessman E.J. Fry who operated a hardware store down the street. E.J. Fry owned the building around the 1860s.
